My personal experience of taking weight loss injections.

I hope my story can help you choose your next chapter.

Hello. I’m Jacqui Flavell and I’m fat.

I’ve always been fat. Not housebound, can’t tie my own shoes fat, but fat. I’ve been on a diet on and off since I was 15 years old. I have lost 50lbs three times and ended up heavier each time that when I started. I have spent a fortune on weight loss coaches, nutritionists, meal replacement programs, juice diets, books, apps, and I’m still fat.

Here are the facts; I’m 54 years old. I’m 5ft 4inches tall. I emerged from lockdown at my heaviest in 2020 at 20 stone. The least I have weighed in the last 20 years or so is about 13 stone. The day I began this new attempt, I was 17stone 8lbs.

This is my personal story.

I’m not going to suggest that my story will be your story. Everyone is unique. My hope is that some of this will resonate with you and may help. And some of it may just reassure you if you are considering embarking on weight loss medication. Just to share a real account, of an ordinary person, in the UK. Not a celebrity, not a medical person. I know that when I was looking into taking this medication, I googled to see if I could find such an account, and there was none, which is why I decided to be that person.

And I want to make it clear that this is my choice and in no way a judgement or shaming of others.
This is my personal story, and if it helps you then that’s fantastic, but that’s all it is.

What can you expect from me?

Honesty, pure and brutal. I will share the highs and the lows, the symptoms and successes, the epic fails and moments of wonder.

Why should you care about my point of view?

I am a qualified professional coach, NLP Master Practitioner, best-selling author of Grittitude ‘choose your own life story’, life coach at 2nd cup of tea, and lifelong dieter.

Grittitude is all about choice, and choosing the next chapter of your story.

This is me choosing my next chapter.  My real story of my experience on Mounjaro weight loss injections.

This open, honest, and vulnerable account will share my experiences as they happen. Who knows where this part of my story will lead?

Let’s begin.
